Alice Hancock, age 83, passed away on February 4, 2020 at home after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy G. Pettway and Addie M, (Worthy) Pettway and James Hancock, Sr. She is survived by James Hancock, Jr. of Valley Park; two daughters, Jean Hancock (James Faulkner) and Janice Bishop (Jim) of Vicksburg and special friend James Cox. Pallbearers will be John Erwin, Glen Kittrell, Rodney Porter, Craig Wipperling, Steven Ford, James Faulkner. Honorary pallbearers will be Amedisys Home Health and St. Joseph Hospice. Thank you for being there with such caring hands. Visitation will begin at Noon til 2 p.m. at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 1830 Cherry St. on Friday, February 7 with service immediately following. Burial will follow at GreenLawn Gardens Cemetery.
