Estelle Whitley died Thursday, August 22.2019.She was 94.Born in Arkansas, Mrs. Whitley was the daughter of the late John Howard Sanders and Ruby Jones Sanders.She had been a resident of Edwards, MS for the majority of her adult life.She was a retired seamstress and was of the Pentecostal faith.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Whitley was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Whitley; two sons, Walter Whitley, Jr. and Ronnie Whitley; two grandsons, Scott Whitley and Michael Whitley; and a great-grandson, Brayden Lynn.
She is survived by six children:Barbara Barnett, Billy Whitley (Brenda), Jimmy Whitley (Pat), Bobby Whitley, Patricia Thornton (Bobby), and Don Whitley (Paulette); and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.A graveside service will be held at 10 AM Monday, August 26, 2019 at Edwards Cemetery in Edwards, MS.
