Annie J. Cunningham passed away in her home in Yokena, MS at the age of 92.

Annie was born in Port Gibson, MS on September 21, 1929 to the Late F.A. Barnes and Louise Fitt Barnes.  During her lifetime she was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert A. Cunningham, Sr. (Bob), and son Robert A Cunningham, Jr. (Robert Jr.). Brothers Buddy Barnes, JC Barnes, Albert Barnes, George Barnes and sisters Ethel Glidjo, Mary Moore, and Rosie Brown.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Jane Spivey, two sisters Barbara Stokes, and Lillie Parker.  Her grandchildren: Robbie Cunningham (Billie Jo), Butchie Spivey (Heather), Morgan Spivey (Stephanie), Angel Spivey (Tut), and Meshell Gant (Rocky).  Her great grandchildren: Cody Spivey, Ryleigh Ehrhardt, Kailyn Ehrhardt, Joseph Littell, Chessa Kaye Spivey, Kye Henry, and Bristol Gant.

Visitation for family and friends will be at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 5000 Indiana Avenue in Vicksburg, MS on March 25, 2022. Visitation scheduled for 10 am followed by the funeral service at 11 am.  The service will be officiated by her nephews Scotty and Jody Wilson.  She will be laid to rest at Green Lawn Gardens Cemetery in Vicksburg.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Robbie Cunningham, Butchie Spivey, Morgan Spivey, Rocky Gant, Tut Henry, and Cody Spivey.
