Obituary

Ms. Bernice Presley was born in Sparkman, AR, November 10, 1935, and left this earthly home September 21, 2018. She lived in Vicksburg, MS, and was an active member at Southside Baptist Church. She was a home-maker; seamstress, upholsterer and a friend to all!

Ms. Presley was preceded in death by her parents, Ware & Verna Hopper; her husband, Riley Presley and a brother, W. L. Hopper.

She is survived by three sons: David Jackson (Lynn), Cartersville, GA; Jeff Jackson (Lyn), Benton, AR; Tony Jackson (Amy), Vicksburg, MS; one daughter Deborah Brown (Philip), Vicksburg, MS. 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters: Glenda Fleming, Sparkman, AR; Joyce Ann Hamm, Dover, NH; Dorothy Kettle, Fordyce, AR; 2 brothers: Raymond Hopper, Arkadelphia, AR; & Travis Hopper (Janice), Hot Springs Village, AR

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:00 on Tuesday, September 25 at Riles Funeral Home. There will be a private family burial at 9:00 a.m., September 26 at Cedar Hill Cemetery followed by a Celebration of her life at 11:00 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church.
