Betty Winborne Smallwood Boone passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019 in Vicksburg.She was born July 11, 1939 in Brookhaven, MSShe was preceded in death by her husband, George Boone; her parents, William Troy and Virgie Smith Winborne; her brother, Billy Ray Winborne; and a son-in-law, Monty Dement.Survivors include her sister, Sue Smith (Glynn); daughters: Vickie Tart (Mike), Gayle Dolan, Judy Whitam (Cliff), Kay McDaniel (Robert), and Gaye Stokes (Paul); her grandchildren:Michelle Tart, Michael Tart (Emily), Joshua and Michael Ryan Whitam, Montana and Justin McDaniel, Dylan and Austin Dement, Brayden Stokes, and Derek Dolan;and two great-grandsons, Evan and Luke Tart.
Services will be 2 PM Friday, March 29, 2019 at Riles Funeral Home.Visitation will be from 12 noon until the hour of service.Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Tart, Robert McDaniel, Paul Stokes and Cliff Whitam. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
