Bradley Paul Heisler died Tuesday, July 16, 2019.He was 71.Brad was a native of Michigan and the son of the late Minard Paul Heisler and Vivian Younglove Heisler.He was a graduate of Central Michigan University and a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam and specializing in helicopter repair.He has been a resident of Vicksburg since 1984.He retired from Grand Gulf Nuclear Power Plant in 2006 and has done much in the way of home repair since.Brad was an avid racewalker, golfer, and outdoorsman. He organized many racewalks and golf outings.He also enjoyed camping, reading, gardening and woodworking.Brad was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
In addition to his parents, Brad was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Randy Bush.He is survived by his wife, Kathy Heisler; his daughter, Sarah May (Adam) of Huntersville, NC; his brother, Clifford Heisler (Renate) of Germany; his sister, Valerie Bush of Evansville, IN; his grandson, Tristan May; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Riles Funeral Home.Visitation will be from noon until the hour of service.
