Carol Langford died Friday, January 29, 2021.  She was 86.  Born in Calhoun County, she had been a resident of Vicksburg since 1965.  She was self employed as a cosmetologist.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Birdie Gibson; her husband, Charles Langford, Jr.; a sister, Barbara Gilder; and a brother, Grady Gibson.

She is survived by her daughter, Shannon D. Langford; her son, Charles Edward Langford (Lisa); a grandson, Charles Joel Langford (Colby); a brother, Pete Gibson (Liz); two sisters, Martha Martin (M.B.) and Patricia Lee (Daniel); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 AM on Wednesday February 3 at St. Alban Episcopal Church.  Visitation will be from 10 AM until the hour of service.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Pallbearers will be  Charles Edward Langford, Charles Joel Langford, Frank Purviance, and Nicholas Gibson.
