Carol Anne Lofstrom Persons Marble of Vicksburg MS peacefully passed away October 13, 2025, after a lengthy illness. She was born January 16, 1945 to Charles Pittman and Annis Spencer Lofstrom.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard G. Marble, her parents, her brother, Charles Spencer Lofstrom and her stepmother, Effie Habert Lofstrom.

Carol Anne is survived by two sons, James Brady Persons and Charles Kenneth Persons both of Brandon MS and a sister, Sue Lofstrom Richardson (Milton deceased) of Vicksburg. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Georgia Lynn Thompson Lofstrom of Corinth MS, a nephew Christopher Lofstrom (Candy) of Chattanooga TN and a niece Georgia Hope Lofstrom (Brett Wilson) of Corinth MS, a stepdaughter, Tanis Marble Thust (Soeran), Santa Barbara, CA and a stepson, Rick Marble (Amanda), Washington DC. Three step granddaughters, Maya, Rebecca and Isabella.

Carol Anne graduated from H.V. Cooper High School Class of 1963, attended Millsaps College and graduated from Mississippi State University. She retired from Lower Mississippi Valley Division.

Carol Anne was a member of Triumph Church of Vicksburg where she worshipped and also worked in the Book Store. Her favorite daily priority and enjoyment was to read and study her Bible. She also loved following Mississippi State University football and baseball along with the Atlanta Braves.

Graveside service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Cedar Hill Cemetery, (end of Street M) with Fisher Riles Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pastor Mike Fields of Triumph Church will officiate.
