Carol Ann Beck Pritchard, 83, passed away on Friday, December 19th 2025 at Claiborne County Senior Care in Port Gibson, Mississippi, after a lengthy stay in the nursing home.  She was born on December 25, 1941, to the parents of Mr. Roy G. Beck, Sr. and Ursula Marie King Beck in the state of Washington.

She is preceded in death by her son, James Allen Pritchard, husband, Charles Wesley Pritchard, mother, Ursula Marie Beck and father, Roy G. Beck, Sr., Sister, Betty Lee Landers and Brother, Roy G. Beck, Jr.

Carol is survived by her two daughters Melissa Jill Taylor (Sherman) and Jackie Lynn Allen (Jamie), 4 grandchildren Nicole Alexandra Randle (Justin), Courtney Lynn Nevels, Kristen Deann Goings, Alex Wayne Nevels (Haley) and numerous great grandchildren.

She graduated from Eudora High School in Eudora, Arkansas in 1961.  She continued her education at Hinds Community College taking courses to help advance her job with the Corps of Engineers.  She then transferred to Waterways Experiment Station where she was there until she retired.

Carol loved her husband and two daughters unconditionally and she was always there for them.  She stayed home after retiring and was a loving wife and mother.   She loved reading, watching westerns, and listening to music. She spent most of her time reading her bible and listening to Elvis Presley.

Services will be at 11 am on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 5000 Indiana Ave., Vicksburg, Mississippi with Pastor Tony Monk officiating.  Visitation will be from 10 am until the hour of service.  Interment will follow at McClellan Cemetery in Utica, MS.

Pallbearers will be Alex Nevels, Eric Ashley, Billy Goings, Chuck Hopkins, Butch Landers, and Keagan Randle.   Honorary Pallbearers will be Jamie Allen and Danny Rouse and Dr. David Headley.
