Charles Coleman Brooks, Jr.  passed away peacefully at home in Terry, MS at the age of 66.  Growing up he was in Boy Scouts and attended Calvary Baptist Church.  He had an adventurous and restless soul.  The simplest pleasures in life brought him joy.  He loved drawing, painting, coloring, singing, and acting like Elvis to express his "wild side".  Although Charles never married or had children, he loved his family immensely.

He is survived by his siblings Barbara Brooks, Darlene Moseley (Greg), Danny Barnes, and Charles Ray Brooks all of Vicksburg, MS.

He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Brooks Barnes, stepfather Herman C. Barnes, father Charles C Brooks, Sr, and sisters Deborah Cade, Cindy Brooks Pugh, and Linda Brooks Miller.

A  graveside memorial service will be held on Monday, May 13th at 10:00 at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
