Cherryl Nicole "Nicki" Dunaway was born June 25, 1963 in Magnolia, MS and died Saturday, June 13, 2020. The daughter of Gary Dunaway and Kathryn Spears Dunaway. Nicki was a member of Triumph Church of Vicksburg. She was an apartment manager in Delta, LA. Her other work history includes apartment management in Natchez, MS and Vicksburg, MS. Food and Beverage manager at Harrah's in Vicksburg, MS, and worked in Cabbage key, FL. Nicki was preceded in death by her mother Kathryn Spears Dunaway.

Survivors include her daughter Hannah Katherine Dunaway of Vicksburg, MS, father, Gary Dunaway and wife Jean of Brandon, MS ;brother Gary Christopher Dunaway and wife Amy of Natchez, MS; brother Russel Spears Dunaway and wife Mary of Brandon, MS; step-sister Donna Jean Clark and husband Nathan, step-brother Derrick Guin ; nephews Kyle W. Dunaway and wife Marcy of St.Francisville, LA (Their sons Barrett, Cohen, and Decker). Christopher Elias Dunaway of Brandon, MS, Daniel Alan Dunaway of Gautier, MS, Chandler Elijah Dunaway of Brandon, MS, Step-Nephew Alex Guin; Cousins Sherry Cummings, Kim Forbes, Renee Dunaway, Rachel Fagan, Rhonda Dunaway, Melissa French, Susan Laurie.

A celebration of life for Nicki Dunaway will be held June 25, 2020 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Triumph Church of Vicksburg, MS.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to charities dear to her heart; Kennedy's Cause which funds research and spreads awareness for Lymphatic Malformation patients and  Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital as her daughter is a patient there.
