Cheryl Floyd Swan, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Wednesday morning, February 19, 2020, at her residence.

She was born August 10, 1954, in Vicksburg, MS, a daughter of the late William Franklin Floyd and Flora Mae Floyd.

Cheryl was also preceded in death by her brother, Donald Franklin Floyd.

Cheryl was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and loyal friend. She was known for her infectious smile and ability to make others laugh. She enjoyed arts, crafts and spending time with her friends and family.

Cheryl taught school for over 35 years. She was a dedicated teacher with a true passion for helping children develop an appreciation for learning by making school fun.

Cheryl is survived by two daughters, Healy Swan Noblin and husband Jeff, Mary Swan Monteleone and husband Josh, one son, Daniel Joseph Swan IV; two grandchildren, Josephine Mae Monteleone (8), Lena Swan Monteleone (6); and one brother Ronald William Floyd.  She also leaves many friends who will sadly miss her.

A visitation will be held from 9am-11am with services to follow on March 7, 2020 at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 1830 Cherry Street, Vicksburg, MS.
