Clair Denise Sanders  Sherman passed away on October 21, 2023 at Merit-Health River Region Medical Center.  She was 71.  She was the daughter of the late Grover and Mable Sanders.  Clair was a graduate of Forest Hill High School and was a technician at Water Shed in Boynton Beach, FL.   She was a member of the I-20 Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Grover "Sandy" Sanders, III.

Survivors include her son, George Ward of Jackson, MS;  one sister, Jeanette Wilson (Tommy) of Utica, MS.

A memorial service will be held  at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 7 at the Church of Christ, 3333 N. Frontage Road, Vicksburg, MS 39180 with the Rev. Larry Macomber officiating.
