Claudia "Cricket" Love went to be with Jesus on November 21, 2021 at Merit Health River Region in Vicksburg MS. She was born on January 31, 1947 in Bentonia, MS. Cricket was a member of Wayside Baptist Church. She is the daughter of the late Lewis Sylvester Howell and Claudine Renfrow McCoy and step father, George McCoy.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robbie Lee Love, Sr. and three grandchildren, George Love Jr., Cornelius Dee Love and Noah Alexander Love.
She is survived by her four children, Robbie Lee Love Jr (Victoria), George E. Love (Angela), Darlene Shoemaker and Naomi Love; three brothers, Billy Howell, Lewis Howell and James Howell; three sisters, Betty Palmer, Judy Brown and Debra Hartley and her companion Alan Welch. Cricket was blessed with 21 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, November 26 at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 1830 Cherry Street. Services will be Saturday, November, 27 at Noon, with visitation from 11 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Justin Ross, Patrick Townsend, Randy Brown, Raymond Brown, Jason Page, Jake Page, Glenn Page and Reid Saxton.
Cricket was loved by anyone who met her. She requested that all donations be donated to the American Diabetes Association..
