On Friday, April 19, 2019, Dale A. Ulbrich passed away at the age 71.
Dale was born June 3, 1947 in Detroit, MI to the late Rev. Dr.Armand and Olivia Ulbrich. He received his undergraduate degree at Valparaiso University and his MBA at the University of Alabama.He was married to Linda Ulbrich (Friedrichs) for 41 years, and together they had a son David, and daughters Karen, Olivia, and Amanda.
Dale had a passion for woodworking. He enjoyed spending time in his workshop building furniture and toys. He also loved spending time at the family cottage in Arcadia, Michigan. He was also an avid reader of mystery novels.
Dale was preceded in death by his daughter Karen, and his parents Armand and Olivia. He is survived by his wife Linda, his son David, daughter-in-law Brooke, and daughters Olivia and Amanda, siblings Norman (Susan) Ulbrich and Edith (Pat) O'Brien, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial will be held in Arcadia, Michigan this summer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to THANC Foundation (thancfoundation.org) or Camp Arcadia (P.O Box 229, Arcadia, MI 49613).
