Daniel Percy Ross passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019.  He was 70.  He was the son of William Lamar Ross and Lettie Mae Ross.  Dan was a lifelong welder and pipefitter and his hobbies included CB radios and commercial fishing.  He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Oscar Ross and Frank Ross.  Dan is survived by his daughter, Nancy Ross Beard (Thomas) and one grandson, Garrett Beard; numerous nieces and nephews, including his niece Betty Ross.  Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5 at Utica Christian Church Cemetery in Utica, MS under the direction of Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home.   Pallbearers will be Norman Standifer, David Williams, Benny Doughtery and Sonny Mathes.  Honorary pallbearer will be Danny Smith.
