Deniece Cook Irwin died Saturday, January 20 at the age of 87.  She was born in Star, MS to the late Bishop and Maude Cook, she had been a resident of Vicksburg for the past 60 years.  She retired form South Central Bell.  She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and was an avid Bridge player.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Irwin and her son-in-law, Ronnie Watkins.

She is survived by her three children: Tony Irwin, Ann Watkins, and David Irwin (Barbie); seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, January 26 at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 5000 Indiana Avenue.  Visitation will be from 9 AM until the hour of service.  Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Vinzant, Charlie Little, Anthony Irwin, Michael Irwin, R.K. Foley and Cooper Campbell.
