Donald Glen Mordecai died Sunday, December 27, 2020 at home.  He was 60.  Born in Eupora, MS, he has been a resident of Vicksburg since 1969.  He was the son of the late Howard and Ruby Mordecai.

He was an outstanding athlete and a graduate of Warren Central High School in 1978 and he went on to play baseball at Hinds Junior College.  He earned two BS degrees at Mississippi College in Clinton, MS.

He was preceded in death by his father Howard Stewart Mordecai, his mother Ruby Lynn Mordecai and a brother Gregory Lynn Mordecai.

He is survived by two brothers William Howard Mordecai (Sharon), Arthur Lee Mordecai (LeeAnn) and a sister Linda Carol Mordecai; two nephews Michael Parham Mordecai and Matthew Payton Mordecai.

A graveside service will be held at 2PM on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
