Donell Youngblood passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022.  He was 84. Donell was born in Kosciusko, MS and served in the U.S. Air Force from August, 1955 to September 1962.  He retired from International Paper in April, 1996.

Donell was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Alene Herron Youngblood; his wife, Mae Johnson Youngblood; their son, Dennis James Youngblood; his sister, Joyce Davis.

Survivors include his brother- in- law, Pete Johnson (Joyce); brother, Barry Youngblood (Farron); nieces, Kandy Sullivan (James), Lynn Case (David) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20 at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 5000 Indiana Avenue.  Services will follow at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Dennis Morgan officiating.  Interment will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James Sullivan, David Case, Keith Johnson, Kevin Sharpe, Harold Johnson and Thomas Holmes.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends and neighbors on Lightcap Blvd.
