On November 30, 2022, Donnie Lewis, a lifelong resident of Vicksburg, MS passed away peacefully at the University of Mississippi Medical Center at the age of 67.

He was a former detective for the Vicksburg Police Department as well as a former member of the Vicksburg Fire Department. Throughout his law enforcement career, Donnie took great pride in serving his community and lending a helping hand to anyone in need.

He enjoyed spending his free time hunting, fishing, as well as spending time with close friends and family.

He is survived by his wife Sonia (Vicksburg), as well as his children: Travis (Monroe, LA), Rhonda (Vicksburg), Natalie (Vicksburg), Donnie (Fairfax, VA), and his twin boys Drew and Brett (Vicksburg).

Visitation will be held on December 3, 2022 at Fisher-Riles funeral home on Indiana Avenue from 10 am-12 pm.
