Doris Faye "Dot" Grant (nee Dunn), age 83, of Vicksburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday May 8, 2021. Born in Pike County, Mississippi, she graduated from Fernwood High School. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and follower of Jesus Christ. She loved to spend her time volunteering wherever she could, especially in the Church.

Dot is preceded in death by her son Ernie Case. Parents Mabel and Earl Dunn. Sisters, Sunshine Wallace, Donnis Pine, and Dee Whatley.

Dot is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charles Lewis Grant of Vicksburg; She had two Daughters, Sally Strohman (Dan) of Brandon and Sybil Watson (Bubba) of Meridian; two Sons, David Case (Lynn) of Vicksburg, and Charles Wade Grant (Amy) of Clinton; Four Granddaughters, Viktoria Craft (Matthew) of Sumrall, Natalie Watson of Meridian, Shelton Chambers (Daniel) of Flowood, and Haley Grant of Clinton; one Grandson, Charles Destin Grant of Clinton; one Great-Granddaughter, Elizabeth Craft; and one sister Frances Jones of Baker, La.

Pallbearers are Wiley Glenn Hambright, David Howle, John Bowen II, John Bowen III, Destin Grant, Matthew Craft, Daniel Chambers, and Stuart Whatley.

Visitation will be Wednesday May 12, 2021 from 9 am to 11am at Lighthouse Assembly of God, 1790 Sherman Ave. Vicksburg, MS 39183.  Funeral  services will be at 11 am with Rev. Mark Thompson officiating. Burial will follow  at Cedar Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Fisher-Riles Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lighthouse Assembly of God for the Mississippi District Assemblies of God Fire Bible Project.
