Douglas Ray Hearn passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at his home.  He was 69.  Doug was the son of Clifton Ray Hearn and Clara Fay Hearn Oakes.  Doug was employed by the Vicksburg Fire Department, General Chemical and Corps of Engineers.  He was an independent contractor.  Doug was an avid outdoorsman who  loved to hunt and fish.  He was of the Methodist faith.  He was preceded in death by his father, Clifton Ray Hearn. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Barbara Hearn; one daughter, Kimberly H. Boyles (Brant); one son, Scott Hearn (Melissa); two granddaughters, Alana Rea Hearn and Kylie Leanna Hearn; his mother, Clara Fay Hearn Oakes (John); three sisters, Sandra Worthy (Kelly), Wanda Whatley (Curtis), Sharon Forbes (R.D.) and numerous nieces and nephews.  Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 15 at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Ted Giordano and Brother Criss Zebert officiating.  Interment will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Thursday, March 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.  Pallbearers will be William Peirson, Scooter Madison, Jamie Davis, Ricky Martin, Justin Reynolds and John Irvin.  Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Marcuson, Jerry Stroud, Alan Hattaway, Jessie Brent, Hank Hearn and  Billy Brent.  Memorial donations may be made to Paws Rescue, P.O Box 13, Redwood, MS, 39156.
