Edgar James Ezernack Jr., age 64, of Vicksburg, MS., passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at Merit Health River Region hospital in Vicksburg, MS.
James was born on November 20, 1954 in Winnfield, LA. He was a wonderful father, brother, husband, friend, and human being. He will be greatly missed.
James was preceded in death by his parents Dorothy (Pierce) Ezernack and Edgar Ezernack Sr.; two daughters: Jennifer Ezernack and Layla Ezernack; and one son, James "Scott" Kerry Ezernack.
He is survived by his son, Michael Ezernack; two daughters: Kristianna Ezernack and Samantha Ezernack; two sisters: Brenda Gurganus and Kandes Hebert; and three brothers: Tony Ezernack, Keven Ezernack, and Johnathan Ezernack. James is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Riles Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. A reception will be held in the Magnolia room at the Ameristar Casino following the service.
