Edmond "Ed" J. Funel passed away of natural causes on June 14, 2020. Kindness was the hallmark of Ed's life. Raised in Bay St. Louis, MS; a Mississippi State University graduate; served in the U S Navy; and then worked for the Vicksburg District U S Army Corp of Engineers until his final retirement in 2009.

Preceded in death by his beloved friend Shirley Reeves, his parents Ethel P. Funel, Nicholas C. Funel Sr. and his brother Nicholas C. Funel Jr.

Survived by his beloved cousins Judith Cambre Barrow and Michael T. Cambre

Friends and family are invited to visit at the funeral home on Saturday, June 20, 2020.Viewing from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Prayer Service at 1:00 PM. Burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Ed has requested donations to the River City Rescue Mission, 3705 Washington St. Vicksburg, MS instead of flowers.
