Ervin E. "Eddie" Grant, Jr. died Friday, March 22, 2019 at Merit Health Central in Jackson, MS.He was 64.Eddie was a native and lifelong resident of Vicksburg.He was the son of Sara Mills Grant and the late Ervin E. Grant, Sr.He was a graduate of Warren Central High School.He was employed by Falco Lime for the past 38 years, serving in the capacity of diesel mechanic, and later as shop manager.He was an avid hunter and motorcycle enthusiast.He was of the Baptist faith.
Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Ervin E. Grant, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Sandi Thompson Grant, his mother, Sara Grant, a daughter, Cassidy Gurley, a son, Ben Grant, five grandchildren, brother, Gary Grant (Mary), a niece, Lacie Brewer, and a nephew, Cody Grant.
Services will be 11 AM Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Riles Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Curtis officiating.Visitation will be from 9 AM until the hour of service.Interment will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
