Florence Ann Cordell-Glapion died at River Region Hospital on Tuesday, October 14th, 2025 at the age of 70. She was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to the late Donald Andrew Cordell and Louise M. Schults. Mrs. Flo, as most people knew her, worked as a Food and Beverage Supervisor for the majority of her career.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her brother, Andrew Lewis Cordell, a son Isaac Glapion, Jr., a daughter Renee Howell and grandson, Caleb Refuge.

She is survived by her husband, Isaac Isadore Glapion, 9 children: Sue Parham (Ronnie), Ferdinand Glapion (Charlotte), Joseph Glapion,  Geneva Glapion,  Sylvia Dawson (James), and Doris Glapion, Glenn Glapion (Mary), Lynn Harrison (James), Desiree Davis; grandchildren: Stephanie Heil (Tyler), Haley Parham, Zachary Parham, Ferdinand Glapion, Jr., Syrilla Glapion, Harmonie Glapion, Jakyvan Glapion, Zephaniah Glapion, Zuriah Glapion, Tyler Glapion, Tiona Glapion, Devon Glapion, Derrick Refuge, Travis Refuge, Jr., Xavier Refuge, Joshua Refuge,  Jeshaya Refuge, Calynn Refuge; and 15 great grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

Services will be held at 3pm on Saturday, October 18th at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 5000 Indiana Avenue. Visitation will be from 1pm until the hour of service.
