Frances Marie Antoine died Sunday, May 24, 2020, at her home in Vicksburg.  She was 94.  Mrs. Antoine was born May 31, 1925 in Utica, MS.  She lived in Vicksburg most of her life.  Mrs. Antoine graduated from Utica High School in 1943,  excelling in basketball and track.  She was employed with Marcus Furniture Company retiring after 56 years of dedicated service.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Albert James Antoine; her parents, Julia Powers Thornton and Robert W. Thornton; her grandson, James Matthew Kilburn; her brother, Robert W. Thornton; her sisters, Sybil I. Reaves, Margaret Rowan, and Ruth Ann Lloyd.  Mrs. Antoine is survived by a son, Charles Albert Antoine, daughters; Linda A. West, Barbara J. Antoine, all of Vicksburg.  Grandchildren: Terry Antoine of Gulf Shores, AL, Tommy Antoine (Pam) of Orange Beach, FL, Tracey A. Harner (Brian) of Charleston, TN, Don Rowland of Vicksburg, Kristi V. Eckhardt (Cody) of Vicksburg, Jacob Paul Kilburn (Jennifer) of Madison, MS, Lee Anna Lyons (Allen) of Vicksburg, sisters: Mexie Goodreau of Thomasville, AL and Jean Abraham of Vicksburg, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.  Memorials can be made to Vicksburg Catholic Schools, 1900 Grove St., Vicksburg, MS 39183.  A graveside service will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Fisher-Riles Funeral Home.
