Francis William Vriesen passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020.  He was 88.  He was the son of the late John and Marion Vriesen.  He was an ordained minister and had worked at Marathon LeTourneau.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Vriesen; his wife, Shirley Joan Vriesen.  He is survived by his son, Karl Vriesen of Jackson, MS; a daughter, Kathie Vriesen Brown of Cat Spring, TX; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, October 30 at Antioch Cemetery, next to Goodrum Church.  Fisher-Riles Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
