Fredona Grace Neihaus Rousey, 71, passed away at her home on April 17, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Harold Francis Neihaus and Elle Katherine Neihaus. Fredona, who we all knew as "Dona," was a housewife who loved gardening, her family, and shopping online. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She attended Woodlawn Baptist Church, cared about everyone around her- for she never met a stranger. She would welcome anyone with open arms, for she had a heart of gold. She leaves behind her husband of fifty-two years, Lloyd Rousey, and two sons, John and James Rousey, and one daughter, Angela Waters. She was blessed with nine beautiful grandchildren, Andrea Rousey, Autumn Nowell, Jonathan Nowell, Emerie Rousey, Haley Rousey, Elena Rousey, Jaidynn Rousey, Ashley Riesenbeck, Austin Riesenbeck, and Abbey Riesenbeck. She also was blessed with one great grand-daughter, Ellyonna Steadman. In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Carlton Neihaus Sr. She has one living brother, Ronnie  Neihaus, and a very special  nephew,  Brian Neihaus. Fredona was an amazing woman, who touched the heart of many lives over the years. She will always be remembered and never forgotten. There will be a graveside service only on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 2pm at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Josh Gee officiating  for anyone who would like to pay their respect.
