Gary Wayne Taylor died Friday, December 9, 2022.  He was 65.  A native lifelong resident of Vicksburg, he was the son of Richard Taylor and the late Deloris Taylor.  He was a graduate of Warren Central High School.  He retired from Cooper Lighting in 2016. He was an avid hunter and collector of Civil War relics.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Donna Taylor; two daughters, Amber Clampit (Michael) and Ashley Boutot (Adam); a son, Brandon Taylor (Sarah); three stepdaughters:  Carla Spencer, Tonya Nichols, and Jeana Richardson (Shane); two brothers, Michael Taylor (Mary Ann), and Steve Taylor (Misty); 13 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Monday, December 12 at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 5000 Indiana Avenue.  Visitation will be from 10 AM until the hour of service.
