Geraldine Holloway died Monday, May 29, 2023 at Shady Lawn Nursing Home at the age of 83.
She was born July 18, 1939 to the late W.R. and Laverne Roberts. She was a graduate of
Southeastern Baptist College and worked as a bookkeeper. She was a member of First Baptist
Church of Vicksburg. Her yard was her greatest hobby.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Johnston (Jim); her son, Joe Holloway (Teresa); her
daughter-in –law, Kristi Holloway; her grandchildren: Michael Orman, Spenser Johnston
(Jennifer), Andrew Grantham (Tabitha), Danielle Holloway, Ethan Johnston, Austin Smith
(Kassy), Justin Smith, Hawkins Holloway, Sarah Beth Holloway, and Kennedy Smith; and her
great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Grantham, Karson Lynn, Kamdon Lynn, and Jaxon Grantham.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kimble Holloway; her
son, William Brett Holloway; and her sisters, Linda Roper and Virginia Bowen.
A memorial service will be held 1 PM on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at First Baptist Church of
Vicksburg. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the hour of service.
