Gloria Nell Pettway passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at the age of 76.  She was born in Yazoo County, to the late Elzey and Callie Hampton. She had been a resident of Vicksburg for most of her adult life.  She was employed by Kroger for 27 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Marsha Brown (Cliff) of Clinton, MS; her son, Eric Pettway (Angela) of Vicksburg;  three grandchildren:  Taylor Shirley, Nicholas Shirley, and Chloe Pettway; and a sister, Faye Milo of Vallejo, CA.

Services will be at 1 PM on Monday November 6 at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 5000 Indiana Ave. in Vicksburg with Rev. Bert Bryant officiating.  Visitation will be from noon until the hour of service.  Interment will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
