Obituary

Hiram Jackson " Jack" Haney, Sr. was born on July 20, 1941, in Warren County, to Samuel Franklin and Frances Eloise Wood Haney. Mr. Haney served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany for 1 year. Mr. Haney was employed with the United States Army Corps of
Engineers, where he worked as an IT Specialist. He retired after 37 years of service. His hobbies included: hunting, fishing, drawing, tinkering, supporting Boy Scout Troop 7 and spending time with his family.

Mr. Haney was welcomed into heaven by his mother and father, and 1 sister, Mary Alice Haney.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marion Haney of Vicksburg; 2 sons, Hiram Haney Jr. (Jennifer) of Terry, Brian Haney of Vicksburg; 3 grandsons, Jackson Haney of Terry, Christopher Haney of Vicksburg, Zane Haney of Terry; and 4 sisters, Martha Martin of Vicksburg,
Nancy Carr of Vicksburg, Peggy Standifird of Vicksburg, and Sammie Haney of Vicksburg; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home on Indiana Ave. Service for Mr. Jack Haney will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home.
