Obituary

Hoprey Sibley passed away on Friday, March 21 at the age of 75.  Hoprey was born in Yazoo County to the late  Mildred and Benjamin "TB"  Pepper.  She had been a resident of Vicksburg for most of her life.  She attended Culkin High School and retired from the Warren County Tax Collector's Office in  2011 after 20 years of service as a Deputy Tax Collector. She was a member of Oakland Baptist Church.

Hoprey is survived by her husband of 59 years, Charles Henry Sibley; her son, Travis Sibley (Dianne) of Brandon; her daughter, Gwen Sibley Tice (Tommy) of Hancock County; four sisters:  Gail Watkins of Vicksburg, Lyndale Williams of Brandon, Margie Barrett of Brandon, and Farrien Youngblood of Russellville, AR; two brothers, Robert Pepper of Russellville, AR and Edgar Pepper of Vicksburg; six grandchildren:  Trent Smith, Brandon Smith, Kayla Stuckey, Lexi Sibley, Dale Yates, and Darin Busby.; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, March 26 at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 5000 Indiana Avenue.  Visitation will be from 9 AM until the hour of service.  Interment will follow in Greenlawn Gardens.  Pallbearers will be Trent Smith, Brandon Smith, Dale Yates, Josh Stuckey, Amanda Smith, and Morgan Lloyd.
