James Ray "Jimmy" Andrews, Jr., died on November 24, 2018 at his residence,He was 78.Born in Vicksburg, he was the son of the late James R. "Jimmy" Andrews Sr. and Karla Mae Smith Andrews. Jimmy was a retired automobile body shop manager. He was a true Christian-southern gentleman with a patience of an angel.Jimmy's' family was first and foremost with him.He was a member of Warrenton Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne Baird Andrews; son, Ray Andrews III; Daughter, Karla Andrews Williamson, (Danny); step son, Mickey W. Ivey, (Nikkie) and step daughter, Dana Ivey; eleven grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.Other relatives include Nina Andrews, mother of Ray, Karla and Kris.

In addition to his parents Jimmy was predeceased by a son, Kris Andrews and daughter in law, Patricia Andrews.

Graveside services will be 11am Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Green Lawn Gardens Cemetery with Brother Marvin Curtis, Pastor of Warrenton Baptist Church officiating.Visitation will be at Riles Funeral Home from 9am until the hour of the service. Memorials may be made to Blair E. Batson Childrens Hospital 2500 N. State Street, Jackson, MS 39216 or to the American Cancer Society, 1380 Livingston Lane, Jackson, MS 39213.

Pallbearers will beClint Tisdale, Danny Williamson, Jonathan Curtis, Brandon Andrews, Mickey Ivey, Sr., Mickey Ivey, Jr., Joshua Ivey and Ronnie Tisdale.
