He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lee; his son Jamie and his wife Scarlet and their 3 children, Rhett, Ethan and Emilee; his daughter Ashlee and her 2 children, Jaxon and Sawyer; loving sister Barbara Bagby Petersen and her husband Bob, and sister-in-law Laurie Bagby, along with many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews who he loved dearly. His family was his life. He was born in Vicksburg where he grew up living right on the grounds of The Vicksburg Airport that his father operated for the city. Shortly after high school he met Lee and they married January 1, 1966. He served his country in the United States Air Force from 1966 – 1970 during the Vietnam Era. He was owner and operator of Firearms Outfitters, where he has served Vicksburg as an expert and master gunsmith for over 47 years. Jimmy grew up in Immanuel Baptist Church and, later in life, blessed the congregation of Cornerstone Bible Church serving as a teacher of God's word for many years. There will be a visitation at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home on Indiana Avenue, on December 8 from 12-2. Graveside service will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Ethan Bagby, Alan Bagby, Carey Bagby, Ashlee Bagby Steele, Dana Sanders, and Cody McCain.
