James Robert Kelly left this world on January 29, 2021. To some he was a computer wiz, to some he was a sci-fi geek, and to some he was the grumpy old man who was calling to track down his packages if they were five minutes late, but to us he was so much more. He was Husband, Daddy, and Papaw, a friend and confidante. He was the man who loved his family and would do anything to help us. He was the man who taught us to be compassionate and showed us what it means to take care of your family. From soccer games and choir concerts for his two daughters, to recitals and babysitting his six grandchildren, he showed his support for our lives and the things we strived to achieve. Our hearts will forever have a missing piece with him gone, but we will cherish all the memories made.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Kelly, his mother, Rosie Ware, his stepfather, Douglas Ware, and his son in law, Jody Chapin. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Peggy Kelly, his daughters Angela Chapin and Megan Kelly (David) and his six grandchildren:  Alyssa, Gavin, Annalise, Ethan, Bentley, and Gracelynn, with two more on the way: Jayden and Kayden. Additionally, his sister Kay Staggs, numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews, and friends will feel his loss.
