James L. "Jim" Pettway  of Vicksburg, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022.  He was the son of the late Leroy "Roy"  Glenwood Pettway and Addie Marion Worthy Pettway.  Mr. Pettway was survived by his wife, Brenda K. Pettway; his children, Theresa Moody, Terri Cramer (Johnny), Rory Pettway (Christina), step-daughters,  Stacey Morris, Tracey Jones; his sister, Laura Brent (Jessie); numerous  grandchildren, and numerous great -grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Cindy Pritchard.

Mr. Pettway worked in the construction industry for 60 plus  years.  He owned his own business with his brother in law and loved his job.  He recently dedicated his life to God and loved his church family.

Services will be held at Noon on  Monday, January 24 at Solid Rock Church, Highway 61 North.  Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Fisher-Riles Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Zack Morris, Ryan Cramer, Tommy Moody, Bradley Moody, Seth Greer, Braydon Jenkins, Sohn Sibley and Billy Sibley.  Honorary pallbearers will be Winnie Mann, Jack Pace and  the Turner Band.
