Jason Howard Tindoll, 47, of Vicksburg, Mississippi, passed away on August 2, 2025, in his hometown.

Born on October 8, 1978, in Vicksburg, Jason spent his life working along the river as a tug boater. He was happiest outdoors and took great pride in his craft of wood carving. Whether on the river or in his workshop, Jason's love for nature and creativity shone through.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jackie and Carolyn Tindoll, and his grandmother, Lavader "L.E." Tindoll.

Jason is survived by his wife, April Tindoll, though they lived apart; his brother, Eric Tindoll; his sister, Amanda Reeves; his four sons, Christian Tindoll, Taylor Coats, Nathan Tindoll, and Collin Tindoll; and seven beloved grandchildren, Owen, Kooper, Kole, Grayson, Salem, and Kye.

Visitation and a memorial service will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 3:00–5:00 p.m. at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 5000 Indiana Avenue  in Vicksburg.

Jason will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love of the outdoors, and the devotion he carried for his family.
