Jerome  "Jerry" Pellegal died Monday, September 6, 2021.  He was 87.  Mr. Pellegal was born in New Orleans, La to the late Louis George Pellegal and Angelina Treadway Pellegal on September 10, 1933.  He worked in the barge line industry as a cook and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jean H. Pellegal; two sisters, Margaret Lowery and Dalma P. Pasqual; and two brothers, Louis Pellegal, Jr. and August Pellegal.

He is survived by a sister, Angelina P. Lee of Sacramento, CA.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 10 at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 5000 Indiana Avenue.  Services will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Greg Clemts officiating.  Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
