Jerry Wayne McKay, 76, of Vicksburg, Mississippi, passed away on September 21, 2025. He was born on March 20, 1949, in Vicksburg, where he also spent his final days.

Jerry was an accomplished musician whose love for music defined much of his life. With a repertoire of thousands of songs spanning the 1950s through the 1990s, he could bring joy to any room and was happiest when sharing music with others. Beyond his talent, Jerry will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, laughter, and the warmth he brought to family and friends alike.

He was preceded in death by his father, Norman McKay, his wife, Elaine McKay, and his son, Niles McKay. He is survived by his mother, Suzanne McKay; his sister, Diane McKay; his brothers, Ken and Paul McKay; and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26  from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. at Fisher-Riles Home, 5000 Indiana Avenue.  Services will begin at 2:30 pm. with interment following at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Jerry's legacy lives on in the music he loved and in the hearts of all who knew him.
