Jessie William Anderson, Sr. passed away on April 17, 2021, at the age of 78.

He was born on May 28, 1942, the son of Lonnie Anderson, Sr. and Caddo Hearron Anderson.  He was proceeded in death by his parents, his wife of 39 years, Jean Sadler Anderson, his sister, Millie Womack, brother, Lonnie Anderson, Jr., and stepson Josh Warnock.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Martha Jean Warnock Anderson of Vicksburg, one son, Bill Anderson (Tanya), two daughters, Joy Thomas (Marshall) and Susan Trest (Dewayne) all of Vicksburg, one grandson, seven granddaughters, and seven great grandchildren, one stepson, Rory Warnock, two stepdaughters, Claudette Whitlock and Wynette Burton, two grandsons, six granddaughters, 15 great- grandchildren, and 3 great great- grandchildren.

Jessie retired from International Paper Company in 2003. He served as a Deacon at Wilderness Baptist Church.  He was passionate about hunting and fishing. He was a soft spoken man who loved God and his family.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20 at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home, 5000 Indiana Avenue.  Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the hour of service.  Interment will be held after the service at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Thomas, Caleb Bryan, Wade Ricketts, Joseph Stubbs, Brandon Burton, and Tyler Roberts.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the  members of the Wilderness Baptist Church Deacons.
