Jimmy Byrt Cogan, II died Wednesday, August 8, 2018.He was 39.Jimmy was a native and lifelong resident of Warren County.He was a carpenter and an avid hunter and fisherman.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, C.J. Cogan and his maternal grandfather, James Alton Blackmon.
He is survived by three sons:Bo Stringfellow, Tate Stringfellow, and Chase Cogan; his parents,Jimmy and Kay Cogan; a brother, Brad Cogan; three sisters:Brooke Guest (Cody Owens), Ashley Belknap, and Alicia Hambright; his paternal grandmother, Lula Cogan; his maternal grandmother, Margaret Hambright; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be 11 AM Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Riles Funeral Home.Visitation will be 9 AM until the hour of service.Interment will follow at Greenlawn Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Cody Owens, Michael Brooks, Keith Martin, Mike Cogan, Peyton Malone, Nick Poole, and Ray Embry.
