Jo Ella Latner passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022 in Collins, MS.   She was 92.  Jo Ella was the daughter of the late Henry and Cary Hale.

She graduated with a degree in Music Education and was employed by First National Bank of Vicksburg.  Jo Ella's hobbies included crocheting and working with flowers.  She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was  preceded in death by  her beloved husband of 57 years, Wayne D. Latner; a sister, Martha Ann Hale  and other family members.

Survivors include her niece, Lisa Harvey (Martin); great-nieces, Hannah Beth Harvey and Mary Catherine Harvey.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 15 at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Fisher-Riles Funeral Home.
