Joann Nasif Roland died December 12, 2018 at her home. She was 82. Mrs. Roland was the daughter of the late Milad Nasif and Mamie Hajj Nasif. She loved gardening and was an avid cook. Most of all she was devoted to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Se was a member of Highland Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Dean T. Roland; daughter: Deborah Cummins (Wayne); three sons, Bill Kinstley, Jr. (Carolyn), Anthony Kinstley (Donna) and Keith Kinstley (Tina), seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren; her brother George Nasif (Bobbie) and sister Lillian Johnson.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Angelia Shiers; three sisters; Marie Nosser, Jeanette McCann and Gloria Kennedy.
Services will be 11 am Saturday at Riles Funeral Home with Reverend Brian Ivy, Pastor of Highland Baptist Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the service. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family would like to express their appreciation to St. Joseph Hospice, Nancy Butler and
Ann Gray for their love and compassionate care for Mrs. Roland.
Memorials may be made to Highland Baptist Church, Blair Batson Children's Hospital, St. Jude Children's Hospital and Vicksburg-Warren Humane Hospital.
Pallbearers will be Michael Kinstley, David Kinstley, Miller Kinstley, Steve Donnell, Will May and Larry Hartley.
