Obituary

John Earl Daniel was born October 28, 1950 in Gulfport, MS and died November 30, 2022 peacefully at his home in Carpenter, MS.

John enjoyed Duck Hunting and was active with Ducks Unlimited receiving numerous awards and recognitions. He opened and managed Surplus City USA in November 1977 through November 1998 and he completed his career as a Quality Control and Logistics Specialist for VMI in 2015.

He is preceded in death by his parents Felix Edward and Dorothy Daniel and his sister Jo Ann Daniel.
John is survived by his wife of 36 years Karen Daniel, a daughter Sara Daniel, a son James Daniel (Amber), a granddaughter Anzley, one brother Harry Daniel and numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Yokena Presbyterian Church, 10556-10662 US 61 South Vicksburg, MS 39180
