John Allan Keith died suddenly at his home in Vicksburg on Friday, July 3, 2020. He was 74.  John Allan attended Utica Consolidated School and continued to Hinds Junior College.  He proceeded to the University of Southern Mississippi where he completed his degree in journalism.  He spent the majority of his career printing and publishing the Hinds County Gazette weekly newspaper as well as the Utica Advertiser and other satellite newspapers.  John Allan was preceded in death by his parents, John W. (Billy) and Blanche Keith.  He is survived by his significant other, Doris Ann Mullins of Gulfport, one sister, numerous cousins, and many treasured friends.
