John Alan Lumbley, Sr.'s Obituary
John Alan Lumbley sadly passed away on 4/16/2023 at his home in Vicksburg,Ms . As an occupation, he followed in his dad's footsteps as a self employed roofing contractor until his diagnosis of lung cancer.
He loved the outdoors, especially fishing. He is predeceased by his Son, John Alan Lumbley, Jr. His Parents, E.A Lumbley, Sr. & Lora Seale Lumbley & sister Carrolyn Fay Thomas (late Fred).
He is survived by, brothers Edwin Arnold Lumbley, Jr. (Charlotte) and Ken (Anita Sue) Lumbley. He is survived by Sisters, Imogene Walters (late George W), Connie Hall (James), and numerous nieces & nephews, cousins & friends.
John informed us many times that he was not scared or worried about his death, that he was ready to meet Jesus & see his family members in Heaven.
As per John's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
There was a private memorial/scattering of the ashes along with his son's ashes on 4/25
