John Michael Moses III passed away on June 20, 2023  at the age of 72.

Mike was born on November 15, 1950, the son of John Michael Moses Jr and Betty Gullette Moses.

Mike lived a very colorful life and had a spirit for adventure and a tenacity for living life to the fullest. Mike had a passion for sailing and spent a large part of his life living in the Caribbean, sailing personal charter ships.  Mike had a strong passion for the water and later in life enjoyed kayaking along the Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his three siblings, Cam Moses Holman, (husband Ted), Cynthia Moses Freeny, (Husband Andy) and Steven Lawrence Moses, (Wife Tammy) and his loyal companion Katy. Mike had many friends over the years,  he also had friends we consider family. The family would like to acknowledge Mike's lifelong friends Kelly Bryant and Dale Wheeler, both of Vicksburg.

There will be a private service for family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Cancer Society and or Paws Rescue.
