John Anthony Theiler died Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Merit Health-River Region Medical Center.He was 68.Mr. Theiler was a born in Galveston, TX to the late Frank and Mildred Theiler.He had been a resident of Vicksburg since 1995.He retired from the local carpenter's union and was of the Baptist faith.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-son, Michael Sanders.He is survived by his wife, Judy Theiler; two daughters, Melissa Theiler of Carthage, MO and Crystal Theiler of Lamarque, TX; a step-daughter, Leigh Ann Field (Kirby) of Utica, MS; two brothers, Frank Theiler (Lisa) of Alvin, TX and Gerald Theiler of Texas; two sisters, Donna Vasichko (Greg) of Plano, TX and Frnaces Smith of Alvin, TX; three grandsons:Ryan Field, Xachery Meister, and Jacob Matall;a granddaughter, Kayla Hedrick; and a great-grandson, Landon Hedrick.Services will be at 11 AM Friday, October 18, 2019 at Beaureguard United Methodist Church in Wesson, MS.Visitation will be 5 PM to 7 PM Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Riles Funeral Home and Friday from 10 AM until thehour of service.Interment will follow in Beaureguard Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Ryan Field, Kirby Field, Cameron Frost, Jamie Frost, Brendon Blakely, and Andy Templeton.Memorials may be made to Vicksburg Catholic School, 1900 Grove Street, Vicksburg, MS39183 or to a charity of choice.
